Having retired from the Police recently after 40 years service, I wanted to continue supporting our community.

Family Violence is a matter that affects family members, especially our children.

For those that are committing Family Violence, this is not acceptable and that help is available for those that are prepared to seek help for themselves.

Locking offenders up is not always a long term solution, therefore if we can intervene early and get help for those that need it and prevent further violence is a win situation for all.

I know that we in Kapiti can make our Community a safe and great place to bring our family up.
